Avantes is a leading company in the field of low cost spectroscopy and fiber optic applications. We offer miniature spectrometer systems for on-line measurements and analysis, usually consisting of a light source, fiber optic cables and probes and a spectrometer for the analysis of the light. With these systems you can measure chemical compositions, gather non-invasive medical data, simply determine colors or spectroscopic data in the UV, visible and near infrared regions, and much other physical or optical data. Such data are increasingly used for quality assurance and on-line process control.
Kaiser Optical Systems, Inc., offers high-performance spectrometers, analyzers, and optical components for Raman spectroscopy. Our award-winning Raman systems make Raman spectroscopy a practical analytical tool both in the laboratory and at the process line. We are your source for a complete solution, from Raman analyzers to holographic components, as well as telecommunication, astronomy, and ultra-fast laser applications.

“New Methods for Sustainability in Catalysis and Technology”
supported by the DFG
Based on a multidisciplinary cooperation between the LIKAT, the department of chemistry and the institute of automation at the University of Rostock, a novel research concept was created for the establishment of a modern and sustainable alliance between catalysis and technology. Due to a basic necessity of new catalytic processes for sustainable macroeconomic developments, new automatisation techniques are developed.
